MISS FREEDOM OF THE WORLD CANADA 2025
Kayla Miller
Kayla Miller is a proud woman with Indigenous ancestry and deep roots in the small rural town of Sainte-Justine-de-Newton, Quebec, where strong family values, community spirit, and respect for the land shaped who she is today. Growing up in a bilingual home(English & French), she learned the importance of language, identity, and cultural preservation from an early age. Her beloved grandmother, a gifted Canadian storyteller, passed down the teachings of resilience, tradition, and the beauty of sharing one’s story — values Kayla holds close to her heart as she steps onto the international stage.
She is a graduate of the School of Community, Public Affairs & Public Policy with a minor in Environmental Affairs, Kayla now serves as an Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor for the federal government of Canada. She is proud to be the first person from Sainte-Justine-de-Newton to represent her community at the Miss Global International Pageant. For Kayla, being Canadian means celebrating Canada’s diversity, championing inclusivity, and honouring the many voices and cultures that make Canada extraordinary!
Beyond her career and advocacy, Kayla is an avid reader and volunteers as a literacy tutor, inspiring Canadian youth to discover the power of books. In her free time, she finds joy in competitive Latin and ballroom dancing, ballet, and quiet moments spent with a good novel. As she continues her journey, Kayla dreams of pursuing a master’s degree in military history and is dedicated to promoting literacy, reconciliation, and the boundless beauty of Canada to the world.
